Journey of the Grand Master and the Governor General to the Holy Land

The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem wishes to express its closeness to the Holy Land on behalf of all its members.

For this reason, the Grand Master, Cardinal Fernando Filoni, and the Governor General, Ambassador Leonardo Visconti di Modrone, accompanied by the Director of Communications, Dr. François Vayne, will travel to Jerusalem from December 28  to  January 3, in solidarity and closeness to the local Church and as a sign of solicitude. Please accompany the small delegation with your prayers during these days. 

In the name of the Order, a sum will be presented as a concrete gesture of support to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, which is the ecclesial reality towards which the Order is principally called upon to come to its statutory aid. As January 1 is the World Day of Peace for the Church, it will be an opportunity to pray for peace in this tormented land.
